“There are two worlds … one is the one we know and the other is below.” Eli Martinez. Director of the magazine “Shark Diver Magazine”

In the world we are in, we see with concern a solid future for the Shark species, in the world below the sharks live the constant threat of the destruction of their species. Our occupation at this time is to take the reins and guide the interested parties to fulfill our common objective. We must achieve ALL together, through the union of forces, the conservation of these marine species. It involves a lot of effort: it’s getting up every day and wanting to be better as a human being in this world and down there. Whoever has been submerged could understand why it is vital to act, determination will be necessary and saying “I want to contribute and make a difference”, it will be necessary to do so. Maintain the consistency of our debates with our actions. It is said and done in the best possible way. It requires being open to new information because they remember that we can love what we know.

Thanks to all the diving centers of Playa del Carmen that attended the first meeting that took place on Tuesday, November 23 of the currents, the few that responded to the call and showed their interest in this issue that concerns us all : SCUBA PLAYA, ABYSS, GEOFISH, CARLOS QUINTANAR, SCUBA 10, REEF QUEST, CLUB NAUTICO TARRAYA, TANKAH, JORGE SUAREZ SERRADOR, PLAYA DIVE CENTER AND PHANTOM DIVERS.

SECOND MEETING

The rating goes up very slowly.

Little influx gave way to a second Call and so the Second meeting of Dive Shops was held, in which the sum of the most interested parties could be appreciated.

I must point out several issues, the objective is the conservation of the species that we are running out: it is to generate an awareness, culture and an education of both worlds, it is to try to understand that the world is not alien to us, that EVERYTHING has its effect in EVERYONE, Isaac Newton said it “to every action, a reaction”.

Take a moment and analyze, it would be very sad to not be able to do anything, now is the time. The underwater world is another completely different habitat and yet our world is composed of ¾ parts of water. How is it possible not to know it?

Whoever is not interested in respect for the place where he lives is attacking his own species, is condemning him to a dark end.

SPECIAL THANKS TO …

Once again we are grateful to those who not only come and ask how this situation is going but they also look to the horizon and walk to reach it. But especially special thanks to all those who did not attend, who do not show their interest and who are always the first to originate the problems, thanks to them we take more strength, they do not believe and we will show them that if we can make a difference .
